I have been to plenty of conferences where in most time slots I had the world's hardest time deciding between sessions but inevitably one where I wasn't interested in anything. Wanting to be everywhere at once is a sign it's highly relevant.

I suspect that while the conflicts will be true for a good number of people, as we have quite a few who are highly involved like you, Toshio, that it's also probably the exception not the rule to feel you /need/ to be in so many places at once.

Maybe the solution is to work within the teams. For example, during an upcoming FESCo meeting, discuss whom will be there and how you can most efficiently split your time among sessions where you think there should be FESCo representation.

If there's something useful we can do to amend the schedule this time around, let's talk about what that is in concrete terms. If it's just "this could be useful next time," let's talk about it on August 14. We've got enough to worry about for Flock 2013 without trying to start 2014 until it's over!
