So far it looks like Local Motion is the best bang for the buck.
We used this vendor previously for Fedora's FUDCon Toronto 2009
conference and the experience was good. They were on time as needed,
and the vehicle (56-passenger bus) and driver quality were good. The
bus turned out not to be wifi-equipped, but this was because their
outfitter didn't deliver in time as expected. That was six years ago,
and they've upgraded several vehicles since then.
The bus this time is a newer and different (40-seat) model. Local
Motion says it's power and wifi equipped too. The one thing I don't
know yet is whether we have to put the drive up on either end at the
hotel -- but even if so, the cost would still be considerably below
the other vendors.

I noted that one vendor (the one Westford uses for their shuttle
service) didn't respond to my RFQ. I'm not terribly driven to track
them down since we got several other responses.
Are there any objections to going ahead with this vendor?
Silence gives consent, and it looks like Engineering will pick this
up, *iff.* we get enough signups to make the economics feasible.
I also posted this to the Planet feed, to make sure people sign up if
they're expecting a bus:

Basically, signups needed by this coming Friday afternoon so I can get
a count.
