Hi,
I've managed a fair deal about video (and audio) streaming and recording.
Here's the deal:
- we will have 4 cameras available from AVC*, for free
- one technician from AVC will supervisor *us* recording the talks and workshops (for 150 CZK per hour, i.e. ~ 370 USD total)
- we will provide volunteers that would control the cameras during the talks (aim it at the speaker)
- we need to provide one PC with at least i5 CPU and one USB3 port (laptop is fine), they need to install their OS to do some magic - I guess Red Hat Brno might provide this?
- the video will be instantly available on youtube
- if we don't want to volunteer, we can pay for 4 cameramen and do nothing (~ 1480 USD), but I think that's not necessary.
If everyone is OK with that, I can set up a wiki page for volunteers, as it was last year.

Seems like a good plan, but to confirm, this is for recording only, not live-streaming?

The video will be instantly available on youtube - it appears immediately - aka you can watch it as a stream or even as a stream with time offset.
Can someone please update this page?

Hey Chris,
I would appreciate any help! Would you like to split it together? I have already started with Wednesday 6 Aug, would you like to start with Sunday's/Saturday's schedule? And we will see how it goes. Although I edit each paragraph in the wiki page, however I don't know how the wiki will respond if 2 people edit & save the same page :/

Hey Miro,
The wiki page[1] is updated with the 2014's schedule. The red symbol is placed in the workshop/ hackfest sessions, because the page mentions that workshops & hackfests won't need any volunteers/transcribers. If it is a bit 'steep' let me know and I'll replace it.
A big thanks to croberts for his help on this for helping me to deliver it so fast.

The reason I ask is that I want to start working on getting the videos posted to the Fedora Magazine as the session/day ends. This way we have a place for them in one spot.

Well, probably Red Hat Czech. Unless someone will provide us access to some Fedora channel.
