Liberation 2.0 font development plan based on croscore fonts.

Hi All, Most of you aware regarding liberation license problem we are facing from long time. Looks like time came when we can get rid of it. Google has recently released google-croscore fonts. - These are from same vendor ascendar with OFL license and more glyph coverage than existing liberation. - Existing shape in liberation and same as croscore since from the same vendor. Plan: - Use base of croscore fonts and apply enhancements available in liberation and call new entity liberation 2.0 Advantage: 1. Liberation license issues will get resolved 2. Liberation user community will get enhanced fonts. i.e. more language coverage. Need help from legal for doing licensing stuff, dunno how we can crack licensing of Liberation SansNarrow. fontconfig template updates

Hi, just corrected the template of the locale-specific overrides rule at https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fontconfig_packaging_tips There are no changes of the behavior though, in next release of fontconfig, it will warns if <test> elements contains multiple values, this change has been made because of the unreliable/non-intuitive behavior. for alternatives, if one wants to test the lang, you can use compare="contains" instead. otherwise you'll need to put more <match>es then. I'll post the list of the packages here later what packages needs to be updated for that and also will file a bug too. Thanks, --- Akira TAGOH

conky-colors fonts included in package

Hi, I want to maintain new package called conky-colors, i found that this package included some fonts. i ask a friend (maintainer) and he told me that i have make separate packages for each font. but in case, these are not really alphabet fonts, they just used for svg in conky. like weather font that included some shape of sun, moon, wind, raining, etc. or some clocks. now i want to know that i have to make sub packages? i added this list of all fonts that will be installed by this package in /usr/share/fonts/TTF & /usr/share/fonts/OTF below: aClock_Hour.ttf aClock_Min.ttf Arial_Black.ttf Arrows.ttf clockfaces.ttf conky_symbols_by_wiltur-d3ij3mi.ttf ConkyWeather.ttf Devil_inside.ttf digirtu.ttf marvosym.ttf Musicelements.ttf openlogos.ttf PizzadudeBullets.ttf Poky.ttf StyleBats.ttf Varis.ttf weather.ttf Webdings.ttf zoraclockH.ttf zoraclockM.ttf zoraclockS.ttf BTNSWTCH.TTF PIE4MAP.TTF RSBILLSD.TTF Just about that "Arial_Black.ttf", I'm not sure about this, I prefer to not include this in package (just remove it in source) to solve this problem. for more resources, you can download this conky-colors in github (/fonts/conkycolors): https://github.com/helmuthdu/conky_colors -- And Still Nobody Cares *contact me:* <https://forms.hush.com/bersam> Gmail : Bersam.k [at] gmail Live : bersam [at] live Weblog : http://bersibug.blogspot.com GPG Key : 6B6B7E27<http://keyserver.ubuntu.com:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0xCD82BAC86B6B...>

Released 2.5.1 version of the Lohit Tamil and Lohit Tamil Classical

Hi All, Announcing the release of Lohit Tamil 2.5.1 with bug fixes and enhancements. Added new font "Lohit Tamil Classical" specifically for Tamil Classical.
