Summary: Rename 66-smc-meera.conf to 65-0-smc-meera.conf
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide
Platform: All
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: medium
Priority: low
Component: smc-fonts
AssignedTo: nkumar(a)redhat.com
ReportedBy: tagoh(a)redhat.com

Description of problem:
According to http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/I18N/Indic#Fonts_list the fontconfig
config file has to be applied prior to 65-nonlatin.conf to avoid adding Lohit
fonts into the list. so 66-smc-meera.conf should be renamed to
65-0-smc-meera.conf.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
smc-meera-fonts-04.2-7.fc13.noarch

Summary: IPA mincho font should not be assigned to sans-serif family
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=568245
Summary: IPA mincho font should not be assigned to sans-serif
family
Product: Fedora
Version: 12
Platform: All
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: medium
Priority: low
Component: ipa-mincho-fonts
AssignedTo: tagoh(a)redhat.com
ReportedBy: t.matsuu(a)gmail.com
QAContact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: tagoh(a)redhat.com, fonts-bugs(a)lists.fedoraproject.org
Classification: Fedora
Currently, IPA mincho font belongs to sans-serif family by 65-ipa-mincho.conf.
However it's a "monospace" sans-serif font.
sans-serif family is generally expected to have "proportional" sans-serif fonts
such as Liberation Serif. So we should add monospace sans-serif font to
sans-serif family only when the font have special or rare glyphs which other
sans-serif family fonts don't have.
And
I suppose IPA mincho font should belong to monospace family or have no font
family alias.
