As the macro in fontpackages does, please follow it up and use fc-cache /usr/share/fonts/<your font directory> instead of /usr/share/fonts. So, one cannot see difference between them. Difference should be seen by character's shape. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2.5.2 How reproducible: Shape of the character DHA-ધ (U+0AA7) should be more differ than character GHA-ઘ(U+0A98). Actually, shape of character GHA is OK. Additional info: I have modified the Lohit-Gujarat.sfd file which resolved the problem as above.
