What is your locale (desktop language)?
yes, I have the same question. The offending characters are the embedded
bitmaps from Uming.
It looks like you are suffering from the Han unification issue
I am not sure. This used to happen when the local is non-CJK: the Japanese
fonts has the highest priorities, and Uming/Ukai mixed to show the rest.
