I'm starting on my first font package right now. I've picked Ubuntu title fonts because I've taken a look at upstream and the archive file looks very neat, and it is a simple package with only one font style.
As this is my first package of any type, I expect I'll have questions shortly, but I just thought for now I'd say that the font is in progress.

That has given me an idea of some useful snippets that can be added to the wiki; for example the document file folding to 80 chars stuff and a simple FontForge build script (shamelessly stolen from other spec files, of course!)
I haven't done the formal "I need sponsor" bit on that bug because I understand I need to get a few of these under way and passing reviews.
Next up, I'll be tackling Chemist.
