Scientific Computing Group
by Daniel Wysocki (RIT Student)
Hey everyone,
As some of you know, I organize a group on campus for people interested in
scientific computing. We hold weekly meetings, and in a typical meeting we
get a volunteer to give a talk, typically about what they work on, and
other times we have tutorials on things that are of general interest (e.g.,
we've had tutorials on Tensor Flow, deep learning, numerical methods,
vectorized programming).
Our first meeting is going to be in late September. The meeting time is to
be decided based on the following Doodle poll (please fill it out if you're
interested in attending)

Shoot me an email if you'd like to join the mailing list.
Hope to see some of you there,
Daniel Wysocki
P.S. I really need to get a proper mailing list going for the group, like
this one. I see lists.fedorahosted.org isn't accepting any new signups,
though. Does anybody have a recommendation for an gratis+libre alternative?
