Hi all, we are happy to announce fossrit.community to the public. This
is a Discourse-based forum site meant to connect the various components
of the FOSS@MAGIC universe:

This site will be used increasingly for discussing FOSS@MAGIC news, but
we also encourage you all to bring topics of interest to the forum too.

Lessig keynotes OEW at SUNY Geneseo Wed Mar 6 7:30pm Wadsworth Auditorium

As it happens, SUNY's Open Education Resources effort has a strong presence in Geneseo.
As part of their observance of OEW, Lawrence Lessig will be giving their keynote Wednesday night at 7:30pm in the Wadsworth Auditorium.
Lessig's prominence is secured on the strength alone of his authoring works like "Code and Other Laws of Cyberspace" and "Free Culture" (http://free-culture.cc/) but Free Culture" but his work as a scholar, critic, author and activist run far broader and deeper even than that.
