== About the talk ==
What do big humanitarian organizations, open source software, and 25
million projects have in common? Join FOSS@MAGIC for the next speaker
session with Justin W. Flory on Monday, October 15 in the Simone Center
for Student Innovation.
Meet MagicBox, a geospatial data project connecting unrelated datasets
into actionable feedback for local governments and municipalities. Over
the span of a five-month internship, Flory worked on open source
community development to help foster collaboration across UNICEF
projects with external developers. See how open organization principles
and strategy helped the UNICEF Office of Innovation integrate their
software projects into the wider open source community.
What secrets of open source did UNICEF learn? Join us to find out!
