Are you referring to the "ipa console" command?
The console is an interactive python interpreter where you can call IPA API. For instance: [root@server ~]# *kinit admin* Password for admin@IPA.TEST: [root@server ~]# *ipa console* (Custom IPA interactive Python console) api: IPA API object pp: pretty printer
