Which distribution to choose for the enterprise linux desktop

If you had to choose between Linux distros which ones are known to work 
very well with FreeIPA? (apart from the obvious like RHEL itself or 
Fedora) Would Ubuntu also be a good choice?

All the RedHat family work well, as expected, for both client and servers.

As clients, Debian and Ubuntu seem to work well "most of the time". Here
and there there are some issues with packaging. It seems that the latest
version of IPA seems to be (or on its way to be) supported there.
