Could a flaky ssh connection over many networks & tunnels at the time of
install process, make IPA setup process trip over itself like that? Hmm...
More likely security - perhaps setattr +i is in effect, or other things
preventing the creation of the file and/or directory. In which case, the
issue would be not getting a different error earlier in the process.
I'm using FreeIPA together with Red Hat Satellite which requires some
very special permissions on these files (including setattr) - and I've
seen similar types of errors if you try to upgrade/fix freeipa issues
with those required Satellite changes in effect.
