Gave a number of talks in several local conferences before but they are mainly beginner stuff, or Python/Zope related - which I'm not sure whether its relevant for FUDCon. - Hacking on GNOME3 extensions and probably some rpms - I wrote the pidgin integration extension for gnome-shell, and maintains a number of packages. * If you are requesting airfare, include complete flight information such as flight numbers, desired departure and arrival airports, and times. Also let us know if you have specific time restrictions. The airline would be AirAsia (www.airasia.com) as thats the cheapest airline to go to India from Malaysia. Departure would be from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) and destination is Mumbai (BOM). Departure date would be either 1st Nov or 3rd Nov (not sure which is better), and return date would be 8th Nov. * Do you need a visa or other official processing before you can attend FUDCon? If so, approximately how long does that processing take? Booking is already done (2011-09-30 to 2011-10-03, leaving at 2011-10-02 makes the flight very expensive), here are my final costs: * Airfare (Lufthansa) is 133.67 EUR * Accommodation (Perugino) is 222.00 EUR I'm not sure if there was a request deadline and if so, I might be too late due to my vacation. But as said before, booking is done, money is spent. If my airfare could be covered, it would be really awesome, but it won't be the end of the world if not.
