flight is 900 USD but, gnome will pay half, so I am asking for 450 USD from Fedora. 3 nights conference hotel (240 USD). (Also, I'll get funding for the flight from the Linux Foundation too, since I will visit Japan prior to FUDCON, but I don't know the details yet, hence I am asking for 450 USD for the flight for now.

I am one of the creators of systemd which is one of the most core components of Fedora. At this conference I would like to talk about that and collect feedback in order to make sure that we deliver what people want, and that the Fedora community can drive where things go.

Yes, I need a visa for china, which should take a month to acquire, according to the consular web site.
