produce some high quality Fedora lanyards to distribute to FUDCon
attendees with the expectation that lots of these folks attend other
conferences and will proudly wear it at those as well

I think this is a fine idea.  Maybe this is obvious, but in terms of
design, I would opt for something non-event specific, i.e. just the
complete Fedora logo (wordmark + infinity bubble), with or without
some extra "four foundations" marks.
