I was hoping to get around 300 USD to complement my trip from Brazil to the US. The idea is to have my manager to cover the bulk of the expenses, so with the aforementioned help it'd be easier for me to go.

In case this complimentary subsidy gets accepted, I'll be taking care of the flight arrangements. In order to reduce costs, since I have friends in Washington DC the plan is, roughly speaking:
- Flight GRU - IAD - Shuttle bus to Blacksburg, spend the weekend there for FUDCon - Shuttle bus to DC - Flight IAD - GRU

My manager asked me to share room with Justin Forbes, I've sent him an email but did not get an answer from him yet. But in any case, the accomodations are really all I need.

Your request for hotel at FUDCon was approved at the 2011-11-23 subsidy meeting.
Justin Forbes is already rooming with someone else, so I'd suggest looking at the list to see if anyone else currently needs a roommate. If you need help finding someone, let me know.
