It looks like the CY hotel should be able to provide extra parking (outside) without a problem. That's just a short walk from the Brickyard. If we end up at the MP hotel instead, I'll ask them about this.

Parking is available off of 6th and 7th streets - you literally park under the facility.
Parking is controlled by the City of Tempe, and NOT ASU, for Brickyard parking. (The building itself, AFAIK, is not ASU property - it used to actually house a bookstore, restaurant, etc. It's regular leased space.) Jon Delany specifically mentioned that he can't do anything about this - it is out of ASU's hands, no passes are available.
Rates are as follows: $1.50 Each half hour or fraction $12.00 Daily Maximum Event Parking as posted (for concerts, etc)
