[Followup] Translation deadline around Beta
by Noriko Mizumoto
Hi All
I have looked through devel team schedule closer, and decided to propose
the move of all software translation related events rather than the add
another translation deadline, to minimize the impact to devel and
Rel-Eng teams. However I only have translator's view and not
developer's. If you think this is impossible with some reason, let me
know. Also it is much appreciated any input.
Thanks

Translation (L10n) Test Day for Fedora 23 has to be finalized.
Software Translation Deadline : 25th August (Tuesday) and[[BR]]
Fedora 23 Alpha release : 11th August (Tuesday)
As per discussion on email [1], we can finalize the L10n test day for F23
on 18th August (Tuesday), thus translators will have one week to review
and fix their translations.
FLTG team will be working towards coordinating and arranging the test day
including creating new test cases, reviewing old test cases, redesign test
page, provide required assistance to get the image for testing, help
testers on test day etc.
Thanks Ani Peter (apeter)[[BR]]

If dont get answer here either ask on #fedora-g11n or create ticket on g11n
trac. [2]

I18n is enabling infrastructure/application for language. i.e. providing
encoding, fonts, rendering engine support, locales, api to extract string.
l10n is translating words from English to Native language.
I18n is more on technical side, while l10n is more on expertise on language
side. Though in l10n one needs to learn technicalities of translation
framework as well :)

You have joined on the right time. We are presently in active development
for Fedora 23 and good chance to get your contributions included in Fedora
23 final release.
You should subscribe to g11n mailing list and also join Freenode
#fedora-g11n.
I have added g11n@(a)lists.fedoraproject.org in cc of this email. Hoping
someone will answer it soon. Tomorrow we have bi-weekly meeting [1] feel
free to join it. Or you can also open ticket on trac is any issue [2]

Very useful inputs. We will consider while actual drafting questions.
I think that
