When I ping with this on my docker container term with this output 
12 packets transmitted, 0 received, +10 errors, 100% packet loss, time 10996ms
pipe 3

And executing "sudo iptables -vL FORWARD" after :
Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT 0 packets, 0 bytes)
 pkts bytes target     prot opt in     out     source               destination 
    0     0 ACCEPT     all  --  docker0 docker0  anywhere             anywhere  
   29  2436 ACCEPT     all  --  docker0 !docker0  anywhere             anywhere 
    0     0 ACCEPT     all  --  any    docker0  anywhere             anywhere  
          ctstate RELATED,ESTABLISHED

It give packets count on the second rule
