does Fedora attempt to follow any particular stack resolver?

Hi, I do a lot of development in Haskell. I generally end up using stack to build it all,
but unfortunately, that means stack always ends up building slightly updated versions of a
bunch of packages that Fedora provides. I tried a few different stack resolvers and
didn't find one that matches the set of packages bundled with Fedora 27. I've
search around, even looked at some SRPMs and didn't find any answers, so I guess
I'll ask here:

Does Fedora attempt to match one of the stack LTS resolvers?

Hi,

don't take this as an answer with any kind of authority, but... I
doubt it. It's would be very hard and not worth the trouble, really.
You would basically duplicate the work that stack already does pretty
well.

Personally, I have found that installing *only* stack (thanks Jens for
the repo!!!) and using it to install the rest, including ghc, works
the best.

Not very formally: current cabal-rpm is taking latest versions from LTS 9.

Fedora 26 was roughly based on LTS 8.2.

For Fedora 27 a few packages were updated to LTS 9 versions I think.

I would like to rebase F28 to LTS 10 hopefully when it appears.
If that is successful I will announce the LTS version here.

Keeping Fedora up to date with LTS minor versions is too much work, though
I have pondered putting a small subset into Copr perhaps.
