Hi,
I filed reviews for some yesod-core dependencies:
path-pieces (-> yesod-routes): https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=983901 attoparsec-conduit: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=984791 cookie: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=984796 monad-logger: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=984800
and reopened yesod-core: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=925993 to help track our progress.
Can you please help to review them? :)
Can some people also help with packaging the clientsession sub-stack?
Yesod-core also needs shakespeare-{css,i18n,js} - I can help with those.

ps cabal-rpm-0.8.3 is now in updates-testing: the most visible change is that it now only tries to yum install deps that are missing, and also word-wrapping of the generic descriptions for lib and binlib packages.

Hi,
We made some progress this week.
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/showdependencytree.cgi?id=925993
Ben reviewed 4 packages! Thanks
I submitted some more yesod-core deps yesterday for review:
shakespeare-i18n: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=986638 shakespeare-css: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=986639 system-fileio: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=986643 - needed for newer shakespeare for - shakespeare-js: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=986641
Otherwise clientsession and its two deps are still pending. I think Ben was planning to re-open those with refreshed packages but I can also help to do that if needed or review them.
Then once yesod-routes and yesod-core are reviewed we can move on to the layer below yesod itself! So let's keep this moving. :)
I also backported conduit-1.0 and recent shakespeare to F19 updates-testing to make it easier for people to do reviews and test packages. Hopefully then we can also prepare yesod for F19 at the same time.

Let me add that they are in f19-override until next week when they should go stable. I think it would be good for us to use positive Karma threshold of 1 in Bodhi for new packages so that it is easier to push them to stable quicker once tested and that could help to move things forward faster.
Also I would like later to build yesod for EPEL6 - so please requests el6 branches when doing your SCM requests: it saves time for everyone if we do that upfront. If any of you don't want to maintain the EPEL6 branches I am happy to take them.

Progress on yesod-core has slowly moved along.
The good news is that
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/showdependencytree.cgi?id=925993
:
shakespeare-i18n: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=986638 shakespeare-css: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=986639
:
- shakespeare-js: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=986641
should be reviewed soon hopefully, but I had quite forgotten about clientsession since it is not open in bugzilla!
That stack still needs posting/refreshing completely! so yesod-core is not as close as I was hoping.
Anyway let's keep moving and try to do as much as we can for F20.
