Meeting Minutes 20 Dec 2016
by Máirín Duffy
Hi everybody!
We had a meeting today. We will not have a meeting next week due to the holiday, so we will reconvene on Jan 3!
Here is a short manual summary:
Ipsilon 400 error on login
----------------------------------
puiterwijk has this fixed; mizmo tested and was able to log in using her dev env. if you have issues still talk to puiterwijk. it's strictly a server-side issue and not linked to local settings.
bookmarks bar

devyani has changed to a different machine and is still setting up her vagrant env. will work on after that is complete.
release cycle widget

mizmo will review saptak's front end work
this also has some backend issues in terms of where the data comes from, vivek wasn't around but saptaks reported that vivek is looking into this.
Regional Hubs UX research + feature planning
--------------------------------------------------------------
https://pagure.io/fedora-hubs/issue/279
Suzanne completed her interviews of Fedorans who work on planning / organization of events including ambassadors, documented her findings, and we had a meeting last thursday to sort through the data and brainstorm next steps. She will be putting together a master list of the 'problem to address' we came up with at the meeting and working with me to prioritize them, and also starting to wireframe some of the ideas we already had.
Suzanne made a post here on list with pointers to her blog post outlining her work in more detail, please check it out:

edu hub
-----------
https://pagure.io/fedora-hubs/issue/108
Chhavi just got started last week, I assigned her this edu hubs ticket to do some initial UX research on. She will be talking to three edu ambassadors in India. She put together a draft questionnaire that she emailed to me and I will be reviewing and providing feedback on it today.
halp widget

abompard got some assistance from stickster in contacting open stack folks re: errbot although with the holidays coming shortly now no communication back yet. he is busy with the next mailman release but if he has time will also look at expanding the hyperkitty REST API to support the inclusion of hyperkitty posts in the main hubs feed widget.

Sure, happy I am able to help! The Badges can be a good way for you to
get introduced to contributing to the Design Team. You can also see the
Pagure repo for the Design Team, which is where their tickets work. You
can sort them by tags too. You might want to look at the Easyfix tickets
for getting started...
https://pagure.io/design/issues?status=Open&tags=easyfix
...which it looks like there's only one ticket open and Maria has
started on. But she might be open to having some help, not sure. :)
If you are looking for ways to help with UX, I definitely recommend
checking out Hubs. Some of the people there should be able to help point
you to specific things that might help make it easier to get started
(I'm also CCing their mailing list in case someone can chime in).
Additionally, there's also a helpful post on the Community Blog you can
read that might be helpful for you to get started with setting up a test
environment.

Hope all this helps!

Meeting Minutes 13 Dec 2016
by Máirín Duffy
Hi everybody!
We had a short meeting today. Here's a quick manual summary:
Ipsilon 400 error on login
---------------------------------
puiterwijk just got back from his travels. He wasn't aware that the login error affected pre-existing registrations; he thought it only affected new registrations. He will give the issue higher priority and hopefully be able to take a look at it tonight. He knows what the problem is.
Bookmarks Bar
--------------------
https://pagure.io/fedora-hubs/issue/11
- devyani7 has been blocked on the ipsilon login 400 error issue wrt vertical bookmarks.
- devyani7 could use some help, if someone could look at the population of bookmarks? They aren't populating for her.
Translations Team Hub
-------------------------------
https://pagure.io/fedora-hubs/issue/167
- Basically we talked about the status of zanata super-briefly - we believe a2batic has been working on it but she has final exams and was unable to attend today's meeting.
Release Cycle Widget
------------------------------
https://pagure.io/fedora-hubs/issue/63
- mizmo hasn't been able to look over the html/css on this one bc of the login issue.
Badges for Projects/Teams with Path Support
-------------------------------------------------------------
https://pagure.io/fedora-hubs/issue/17
- the html/css template is on mizmo's plate but she didn't have time last week (and wouldn't have been able to do bc of the login issue.) hoping to make progress this week.
Regional Hubs
-------------------
https://pagure.io/fedora-hubs/issue/279
- mizmo filed #279 to track the user research work shillman has been doing for this feature.
- shillman will complete the final (#7) user interview for this today.
- shillman, mizmo, and mattdm are meeting on thursday to conduct an affinity mapping analysis of the data shillman has collected
Ok, I think that is all. Thanks everybody who came.
