Here's the meetbot RFEs:

Group types are confusing https://github.com/fedora-infra/mote/issues/106
Use alises as a way to merge groups https://github.com/fedora-infra/mote/issues/79
I put this info in the fedora-infrastructure#5552 ticket, but also wanted to put it here on the mailing list for clarification.
As far as I could tell, the original Meetbot project is dead in the water. A few months back, I was doing some research into where the source code lived for this, and I found a suuuuuper old DARCS repository with a most recent change from 2009.

I wanted to dig around with it a bit more, so I ran a DARCS to git converter and put the project up on my GitHub and also Pagure (they're mirrored). I don't know if there will be much upstream support for Meetbot as far as it goes. But hopefully this is helpful for digging into this issue a little further.
