by Red Hat Bugzilla

Summary: yum-plugin-remove-with-leaves doesn't remove all
dependencies
Regression: ---
Story Points: ---
Classification: Fedora
OS: Unspecified
Reporter: matthias_berndt(a)gmx.de
Type: Bug
Documentation: ---
Hardware: Unspecified
Mount Type: ---
Status: NEW
Component: yum-langpacks
Product: Fedora
Description of problem:
After installing and removing the empathy package on my KDE-only system,
various dependencies are left around.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
1.1.31-4.fc17
How reproducible:
always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. install and enable yum-plugin-remove-with-leaves
2. install e. g. empathy on your system
3. remove it again using "yum remove --with-leaves empathy"
Actual results:
Various packages that were installed by yum to satisfy empathy's dependencies
are left around. In my case, these were json-glib, libsocialweb,
libsocialweb-keys, rest.
Expected results:
All dependencies that were installed because of empathy should be removed
again.
Additional info:
I filed this bug against yum because there's no component to chose for this yum
plugin.
Yum installed the following 36 packages as dependencies when I installed
empathy. Except for the 4 packages mentioned earlier, they were all removed
again.

Summary: RFE: remove Typing Mode and Conversion Mode from IME
menu
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide
Platform: Unspecified
OS/Version: Unspecified
Status: NEW
Severity: unspecified
Priority: unspecified
Component: ibus-anthy
AssignedTo: tfujiwar(a)redhat.com
ReportedBy: petersen(a)redhat.com

shawn.p.huang(a)gmail.com
Classification: Fedora
Story Points: ---
Type: ---
Description of problem:
I think "Typing Mode" (入力タイプ) and "Conversion Mode" (変換モード)
that appear in the IME menu for ibus-anthy are not frequently used
and could probably be removed from it. They should be set instead
from ibus-setup-anthy.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Turn on ibus-anthy
2. Click on ibus icon
Actual results:
Maybe too many entries.
Expected results:
Only frequently used features should be
included in the menu and others set from setup.
This will make it simpler for users.

Summary: Unable to use Finnish keyboard layout

Version: 16
Platform: Unspecified
OS/Version: Unspecified

CC: tfujiwar(a)redhat.com,
i18n-bugs(a)lists.fedoraproject.org,
shawn.p.huang(a)gmail.com
Classification: Fedora
Story Points: ---
Type: ---
Description of problem:
Since I upgrades to F16, I'm unable to have Finnish keyboard layout unless I
close ibus. Looks like there is no longer option to toggle ibus off, and that
it handles normal keyboard layouts too.
I however have the option "Use system keyboard layout" disabled in ibus,
because using other input methods like Russian is not possible with Finnish
keyboard layout, some of the letters cannot be typed then.
Essentially I cannot use ibus to type in other languages because I cannot write
properly in my own language if ibus is running.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
F16 (KDE), Ibus 1.4.0
