Summary: RFE: Support langpacks specific to Finnish
Product: Fedora
Version: 15
Platform: Unspecified
OS/Version: Unspecified
Status: NEW
Severity: unspecified
Priority: unspecified
Component: yum-langpacks
AssignedTo: petersen(a)redhat.com
ReportedBy: vpivaini(a)cs.helsinki.fi
QAContact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: notting(a)redhat.com, petersen(a)redhat.com,
james.antill(a)redhat.com,
i18n-bugs(a)lists.fedoraproject.org
Classification: Fedora
Description of problem:
Finnish spell checking in Fedora and most other Free Linux-based operating
systems is handled by the Voikko library: http://voikko.sourceforge.net/
Voikko needs extensions and plugins to work with some of the programs or other
spell checking frameworks in Fedora. The langpacks plugin should install these,
when appropriate.
When installing libreoffice, install openoffice.org-voikko (the name will be
changed, probably in F16, to libreoffice-voikko)
When installing firefox, install mozvoikko
When installing enchant, install enchant-voikko

--- Comment #81 from Hankenstein <pete.hancock(a)gmail.com> ---
Something that seemed to sort this out for me was erasing
fontconfig-infinality, which also removed freetype-infinality. If I reinstall
these, I have the original problem. (I had forgotten I once installed these --
sorry!) I also ran fc-cache -f at various points.
I am now using fontconfig-2.10.93-2.fc19 and urw-fonts-2.4-18.fc19.noarch, and
I no longer have any problem with them. I'll bestow "karma" as soon as I
figure out how to do that.

Summary: New upstream version available

QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: dueno(a)redhat.com, fonts-bugs(a)lists.fedoraproject.org,
i18n-bugs(a)lists.fedoraproject.org
Description of problem:
New upstream release is available at http://hangeul.naver.com/ . You can
download NanumFontSetup_TTF_ALL_hangeulcamp.exe and it can be extracted using
7z.
It includes new NanumBarunGothic family and adds Light weight for NanumGothic.
Unfortunately Naver did not put any version on this release.. FYI, Debian
package used the modified date "20131007".
See http://help.naver.com/ops/step2/faq.nhn?faqId=15879 for the SIL OFL 1.1
license. It updates Reserved Font Names.
Note that the upstream company NHN has been split into several companies and
now "Naver" is now the name of company in charge of Nanum fonts.
