The only remaining issue here is ar-kbd.mim is not in the list to select but there is already a explanation why its not there. The workaround in comment#23 is also given to you on how to enable ar-kbd.mim keymap. We can write only single unicode value in xkb keymaps. Another thing there are many m17n keymaps. Which m17n keymap I should check? Also note, all kbd keymaps provided by m17n-db are disabled as they are almost similar to their XKB keymaps.
