Another interesting test:
1) Run xine somevideo.mp4 in gnome-terminal number 1.
2) Open another gnome-terminal, number 2, in that terminal
run: “ssh -X localhost”
That “ssh -X localhost” is not even necessary, I even
see Shift_L and Control_L events in xev without that.
3) ibus exit
(no ibus is running now, if you want to start it again
later you can use “ibus-daemon -drx”).
4) start “xev” in the terminal from 2)
5) put mouse over the “xev” window and let it sit there.
6) just wait and watch the output of xev in the terminal
From time to time, Shift_L and Control_L events are coming!
