I've built Terminus in the OTB format and it seems to work for me even with
the new Pango, although others have reported spacing issues with the result.
If you are OK with trying package from copr repo, could you please check bug
1748495 comment 12 and upgrade terminus-fonts from copr, to see if it is
usable for you?
Sure thing, unfortunately I have those spacing issues as well, it seems like
the font is rendered monospaced. I'll attach screenshots containing the
downgraded pango version with the bitmap terminus font and up to date pango
version with your converted terminus font package.
