--- Comment #1 from fujiwara tfujiwar@redhat.com --- It's a known issue that IBus can work with the activated input context in Wayland and the Enter key was handled out of IBus. Maybe this is relative with the XIM support in Wayland. Closing this as duplicated at the moment until I get the better fix.
The workaround is to switch the input focus on another application and switch back the input focus on the terminal again.
