(ok i'm little frustrated)

so far nobody put forth the straightfoward explanation why the direct input
mode
is better default. just two indirect reasons has been presented:

1. some users somewhere want that way
2. microsft windows japanese edition setup that way

i must say both are pretty weak and vague.
