--- Comment #10 from Pravin Satpute psatpute@redhat.com --- Hi Daiki,
We want to make ibus-typing-booster available on RHEL6, for that purpose we need EPEL6 branch for libtranslit.
Let me know if you are fine with it, we can do the rest..

--- Comment #11 from Daiki Ueno dueno@redhat.com --- Sure, please.

--- Comment #13 from Pravin Satpute psatpute@redhat.com --- I was trying to build this for epel6 but unfortunately gobject-introspection is not available in RHEL-6.
and while trying ELEL-6 for gobject-introspection i found https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=468285#c10
Can we build libtranslit with --disable-introspection and will it work as expected?
Earlier i thought it will be easier but it looks complicated.

--- Comment #14 from Pravin Satpute psatpute@redhat.com --- Finally able to do scratch build but with some alterations:
1.--enable-introspection=no 2. Dropped icu subpackage: EL6 does not have build dependency icu-io
scratch build: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=6344468

--- Comment #15 from Mike FABIAN mfabian@redhat.com --- (In reply to Pravin Satpute from comment #13)
I was trying to build this for epel6 but unfortunately gobject-introspection is not available in RHEL-6.
ibus-typing-booster needs gobject-introspection as well.
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=798891
--- Comment #16 from Pravin Satpute psatpute@redhat.com --- I think good to have that it in BuildRequires of ibus-typing-booster.
