xorg-x11-server package maintenance

Hello team,
It looks like the xorg-x11-server package is having problems with its
packaging [1] and I'm wondering if that is a package that we can pick up as
a team to maintain?
What do you think?
I think it is important for us to keep an eye on the xorg server stack
since i3wm depends on it.
I want to know your opinion, Is it too much for us?
