Fedora 10 Indic locales remix - kickstart file

This produces a image around 725 MB. You can pick and choose what
locales you want to include to reduce the size. If you want to make say
Tamil the default, there is a couple of simple directives to add,
# change default locale
lang ta_IN.UTF-8
# change default timezone
timezone Asia/Calcutta

Having a local mirror is very useful, otherwise you have to wait for the
downloads for a long time depending on your bandwidth, atleast for the
first run. Let me know if you got more questions. Please keep questions

Hi,
Don't know if you folks have considered this, but it should be possible
to parse the spec, compare the manual build requires specified with the
one auto generated by this tool and post the diff as a suggestion to the
packager as part of review-o-matic. Does that make sense?

Hackathon help..

We've finally got things in motion for the OpenWeek..

We have planned a "Hackathon" on the last day.. It is meant to introduce
people to the idea of Application Development.. Since it is the first
time, it will probably just be us changing a few things in some app to
show people how and what can be done..
We are holding a workshop on Python before the open week..
so, Can someone please suggest a simple application written in Python
that we could use in the hackathon.. We need the simplest possible so
its easy for people to understand what is going on..

plymouth screenshot, a login screen picture , a desktop screenshot.

FTF and gpl-violations release a guide to reporting and fixing licence
violations

FSFE's Freedom Task Force (FTF) and GPL-Violations.org today released a
guide to reporting and fixing licence compliance issues.
This guide will help users and developers to deal with license violation
reports. It explains how to make a report, what information is useful to
include, and offers suggestions for how projects or businesses can deal
with reports once they are received.
The guide is released as part of the strategic partnership between the
FTF and GPL-Violations.org, who work together to improve licensing
awareness and compliance in Europe. It is located on the new FTF

projects and businesses can get help with understanding Free Software
licences. Translations into several European languages will be made
available during coming weeks from the FTF website.
