Hello Everyone,
Fedora Diversity team is planning to celebrate Fedora Women Day, 2017 [1]
across the globe.
It will be great if we can plan multiple events in India too at different
cities with the help of active ambassadors.
Here is more information [2].
Please respond if you are willing to help organize the event in your city.
Here is a template wiki page to do the event in your city [3].
NOTE - It will be nice to do the event in month of September, but if there
are some unavoidable situations, one can plan it do early or later as well.
Thanks,
Amita

Release party approval
by Sachin S. Kamath
Hi all,
I filed a budget ticket about 4 days back[1] for Fedora 26 release party in
Coimbatore, TN. After filing the ticket, I was asked to get +1 of other
ambassadors to get the ticket approved. apac-ambassadors issue tracker only
has around 6 subscribers at the moment, and I cannot find any SOP that
requests for +1s from other ambassadors for a release party to happen. Can
someone point me to the wiki which defines this? Also, I don't understand
why an ambassador will be -1 to any other ambassador conducting a release
party.
Is there a better way to get this approved?
