Thank you for reporting. But timeout errors can occur with any mirror.
Its because the mirror is throttled to support a maximum no of
concurrent users at a time. If it reaches the limit it shows such
error.

It may be at one point of time that you faced such an error because of
the limit, It must work fine some other time.
Anyway we will monitor the mirror regularly and throttle it for best
combination of transfer speed and no of concurrent users.

Currently only Glug-nith mirrors rawhide repository in India, so your
request went to Japan.
