Thank you for the post

Especially the section "Lessons Learned from this sprint". How do you
intend to follow-up and continue the conversation with the
participants of this sprint?

You should check meetup.com before questioning. The Meetup.com itself help
to communicate.

Sorry for the late response.

My query was along the lines of how does one continue to collaborate.
The india@ list isn't the place and I don't notice much traffic on the
Python Pune one as well.

Very few of the attendees came back and asked for new issues after the sprint and few of them tried to develop their ideas into code.

We have a next python sprint coming soon, where we are going to implement one of the goal (a tool which will list all the easy fixes of all the projects at one place) and will be helping others to implement their own project ideas.

Here : " Below is the upcoming plan of 3 month meetup i.e from May, 2015 to July, 2015." from http://chandankumar.dgplug.org/posts/event-report-april-python-pune-meetup-26th-april-2015.html .

Tools/services like meetup.com are basic
infrastructure. They don't relate well to becoming a complete social
collaboration portal.
