Hello All,

I have Fedora 2.6.23.1-42.fc8 GNU GRUB version 0.97

At boot time when I press arrow keys I get the screen wherein it prompts 'p' to enter a password to unlock the next set of features. Unfortunately I lost that password as well as the root password.

How do I bypass this, is there any way.

I did an initial search on net on how to reset the root password, however I am not able to halt the boot grub and it dont allow me at all, I mean I dont get any option to edit or append the boot to go in run level 1.

Kindly could any one let me know any clues that what is wrong in my approach or my installation.
