Can someone point this student in the best direction for getting a copy of Fedora. Please make it F16.
I have the iso for live CD. Sadly I own a 12.5" Lenovo x220 which does not come with a cd/dvd optical drive.
In case anyone can provide him with a physical media, please take this up else I'll comment on ticket by EOD telling him that I can provide an iso image in a thumb drive or something, if he wants.
Anyway, I don't understand how a guy living in J. P. Nagar, Bangalore has limited (or no) access to internet. IMHO, we should reject the request if community agrees.

That's the reason more contributors are needed in Freemedia, from as many rural\urban district as possible in India. So they can ask pertinent questions. But, please don't reject on the grounds that Bangalore has internet. 1: Is there a cap on internet 1gb. 2gb? 2: Has person tried and failed for months to download? 3: Can person x afford internet if a student/ unemployed ex-student? 4: As student are isos available in his school, or can be placed there by someone? (possibly Ambassador involvement required)

It is possible to place isos of Fedora, at least around Bangalore. I say this because there are a fair number of active contributors here. I don't know if anything of this sort has been tried here before or not but I am willing to give it a shot.
What is the general opinion on this idea?
Ankur, Hiemanshu, Arun and others who are in Bangalore, what is your view?
