Yesterday NIT Hamirpur increased the bandwidth allocation for the Fedora mirror [1]. We have allocated a total of 13.125Mbps (35 clients at 384Kbps each) now, and would like to know whether there has been any reduction in the frequency of "connection refused, too many connected users" errors one used to receive earlier? Since we are listed on top for the Rawhide content [2] [3], I am guessing this will affect Rawhide users more than their Fedora 9 counterparts. We are going to fine tune our allocation depending on how the load affects the rest of the university network and user feedback.
