There will be an outage starting at 2019-05-20 21:00 UTC , which will last approximately 5 hours. To convert UTC to your local time, take a look at http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Infrastructure/UTCHowto or run: date -d '2019-05-20 21:00UTC' Reason for outage: There have been a number of kernel and low level library updates which require a system reboot to put into place. We will be rebooting staging and several non-PHX2 servers which do not require a full outage due to redundancy or low service level expectations. Bodhi 4.0.0 beta deployed to staging

Greetings! Back in December, I sent out a threat^Wannouncement that I would be making a lot of backwards incompatible changes to Bodhi in an upcoming 4.0.0 release[0]. I didn't expect it to take this long at the time, but five months later we finally have a beta built[1] and deployed to staging[2]. Please peruse the release notes[3] to make sure you are familiar with how these changes might impact you, particularly if you integrate programmatically with Bodhi. One notable change I will highlight is that Bodhi's masher fedmsg topics have all changed to use the word "compose" instead of "mash". Also, Bodhi has stopped using fedmsg and uses the new (and fantastic, I might add) fedora-messaging library, and as a result you can try out Bodhi's new bodhi.messages Python library if you are receiving Bodhi's messages in Python - it's a much more convenient way to access Bodhi's messages from Python. Bodhi now also has documented schemas for the messages it sends[4]. Hey infra team, I'd like to say Hello World by this mail :-), and plan the official introduction on Thursday's IRC meeting. Per [1] instructions, ... IRC handle: 'praiskup' Time zone: CET/CEST, Czech republic Skillset: I'm package maintainer, shell/c/python hacker (or so.. [2]), I'm maintainer of Red Hat Copr instance (private) for some time, scripting available publicly on [3]. RH cert number 120-157-599 [4]. Now I work for Red Hat, Inc., as software engineer in Copr team. What I want to do/achieve: I'd like to be able to perform admin tasks on Fedora Copr boxes - namely to: - edit/execute related playbooks - when doing Copr release, I'd like to be able to tag builds to infra tags in Koji - be able to access openstack tenants with copr infrastructure VMs - so to perform the tasks above, I need to step into fi-apprentice group :-), and stay there for some time, ... ?
