Back in 1997 I was the editor of my high school's student newspaper. Save Ferris (the band) send us their CD hoping that we'd write a review of it and generate them some sales.
It wasn't awful. But we never wrote about it either. It was better than Andrew Dorff's album "Hint of Mess" which we also got for free.
