Why specify daemon. as the facility? It looks like the sort of thing that
really doesn't need to be an option.
The original intention was to enable usage of echo_log() also from other scripts but after
short investigation it seems
that there is no usage for this outside daemon. facility scope in initscripts.
Changed patches without facility as option are attached.
