git commit -sm "your beautiful message" git format-patch origin/master(or if you are in different branch *master*)
and send me this patch again please. You will be as an author of commit and I will be committer. Make sure you have properly set in .gitconfig

Frankly, I don't care about your version control system, so please implement the patch any way you like and attribute it by any means you think are necessary or esthetically pleasing.
