I installed eclipse-platform-3.5.2-2.fc13.x86_64 on Fedora 13.
Java has been installed on the system.
ca1@localhost ~]$ java -version
java version "1.6.0_18"
But, Java runtime is not recognised in the Eclipse IDE.
Under Menu....... Window>Preferences there are no installed JREs options.
Also, no Java project, class options in the menu is available.
I haven't used pmd for almost 2 years now. I think it is time to have
somebody who does use it take over maintainership. There are no open
bugs at this time.
Also, I intended to package pmd-eclipse-plugin at some point, but
never got around to it.
Let me know if you want this package, and I'll release it in pkgdb. Regards,

I have not enough energy and knowledge to maintain a large Java server
in Fedora, so I am orphaning tigase (that's tigase-xmltools,
tigase-utils, and tigase-server). I have released ownership of all three
packages in Fedora Pkg Database.
AFAIK, I believe that all three packages are properly packaged and run
without glitch with self-signed certificates. Packages have no other
significant dependencies than JDK itself (the author doesn't use third
party libraries), and it has integration done to run out of the box with
our MySQL (however, it can work with most JDBC databases with some
configuration on the top).
However, I have never managed (due to the lack of my knowledge about
certtool and keytool, no doubt) to make tigase working with the real
There is now new upstream release coming which should make dealing with
certificates much easier.
Please, somebody, take this, I think it would be really cool to have
this XMPP server working in Fedora (EPEL).
I ran again my small script to check for update status of the maven
plugins and there is the output with the usual false positive:
* maven-compiler-plugin is not up to date
upstream: 2.3.2, Fedora: 2.0.2-2.fc14
* maven-dependency-plugin is not up to date
upstream: 2.1, Fedora: 2.2-0.2.svn949573.fc14
* maven-project-info-reports-plugin is not up to date
upstream: 2.3.1, Fedora: 2.2-5.fc15
* maven-shade-plugin is not up to date
upstream: 1.4, Fedora: 1.3.3-2.fc14
* maven-site-plugin is not up to date
upstream: 3.0, Fedora: 2.1-3.fc14
* maven-war-plugin is not up to date
