Ah, I found the reference. In
/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.5.0-gcj-1.5.0.0/jre/lib/security/java.security is
this line:
security.provider.6=org.bouncycastle.jce.provider.BouncyCastleProvider
That class does exist in /usr/share/java/bcprov.jar, but nothing is
adding that jar to CLASSPATH if it exists. How is this supposed to
work?
