At 3:00 PM PST I'm getting a:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable
to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, sysadmin(a)kde.org and inform them of
the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have
caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Which is not good, I'm afraid to say...
I'm CC-ing sysadmin(a)kde.org if that helps at all... Kde.org works fine...

F10 kde logout problems
by Peter Reed
Hello all,
I have problem logging out of my kde session with one user. I have added
another user and that user can log out without a problem. The original user
cannot log out, reboot or shut down the computer with the kde log out dialog,
of course I can reboot and shutdown from the console. The newly created user
can do all of the above without incident.
I use kdm display manager and I am up to date in all software packages. In
fact this problem surfaced after the latest round of updates.
The user in question can log out, reboot, and shutdown from a gnome session so
seems to be kde related.
Any ideas where I should start to look into this problem?

KOffice2
by Anne Wilson
I installed koffice2 beta6 from kde-unstable, and have been told that many of
the bugs have been ironed out in beta7. What is the plan for packages like
this? Do you build every beta, or less frequently?
I ask because I do not have unstable enabled by default, so I'll have to keep
an eye out for updates.

gnome-packagekit + kpackagekit?
by Neal Becker
I seem to have both gnome
update-applet and kpackagekit-smart-icon icons. I have both
gnome-packagekit
and
kpackagekit installed.
Is this a bad thing? Should I remove gnome-packagekit?

NM Password Problem
by Petrus de Calguarium
NetworkManager works fine, except...
In Gnome, a window pops up, asking for my password, which then connects
the wireless internet. In KDE, as root, the same occurs, but in KDE, as me,
that window does not show up. Instead, a different window, namely the one
that asks the type of wireless security and the actual passphrase of the
wireless router (I think this is the wpa_supplicant window) shows up.
It all used to work, right up until about a week ago, when I started having
to enter the wireless passphrase instead of my... uh, what is it, security
password for pam? for who knows what? that NM uses.
I have ksshaskpass installed and linked in .kde/Autostart, if that is
significant.

* F11 release notes
= Summary =
o pre-Beta live image feedback:
* There was no relevant feedback yet (especially that the basic
features works).
o #474530: can we put this to rest -):
* In Fedora 11 gnome-packagekit won't be started by default anymore.
("Solution B" [2])
* So - with kpackagekit installed by default in F11 - there won't be
two competing package manager (icons) anymore.
* The kpackagekit package will also be prepared to include the existing
translations (upstream missed them).
o kde-plasma-networkmanagement status:
* kde-plasma-networkmanagement was pushed to updates-testing for F10
and F9. [3,4]
* It was reported to work at least basically, but some features are
broken or missing (eg. enable/disable network, problems with WPA2,
not-working VPN).
* It was also unclear if this plasmoid will be ready for enabling it by
default (in the future, not now).
o F11 release notes:
* KevinKofler will prepare the release notes for Fedora 11 Final.

Leonidas KDE Artwork
by Jaroslav Reznik
Hi all!
I'm preparing ground for our new Leonidas KDE Artwork, check Fedora Hosted
fedora-kde-artwork project. I think it's better for cooperation to have
versioned it.
svn co svn+ssh://username@svn.fedoraproject.org/svn/fedora-kde-artwork/
Ask for svnfedora-kde-artwork group membership.

NetworkManagement plasma problem
by Neal Becker
I've been using the networkmanager plasma with good results, but now I hit the
first problem. After being connected to the wired enet, I put the machine to
sleep, then woke it up with the enet disconnected. I could not find any way to
get it to connect to the wireless by fiddling with the plasma. I had to
restart NetworkManager, and then it connected.
