Desktop pager

When I select a different desktop, the pager flashes a big display for a
second of all my desktops as a set of icons with embedded arrows showing where
I'm coming from and going to; I'm sure some programmer spent a lot of time on
this, and some will like it, but I really don't - does any one know of a way
to turn this off?

Akonadi problems

On one box, starting Kontact brought up akonadi's migration tool, and
everything seems to be working. On the Acer Aspire One, though, akonadi has
run into difficulty. Here is what it says:

How to stop this scrolling?

I never claimed to have wonderful mouse control, and every now and then I find
that I have enabled scrolling, like an autocue. I'm sitting in a KMail
directory with a message containing log printout, and the d* thing is
scrolling away slowly. I can't stop it. There has to be a way. Let me into
the secret?

It shall also be noted that several people in the Kubuntu project are
unhappy with Kubuntu's use of a separate brand and point to Fedora as the
example of how to do it right.
I don't think we need a separate brand, we need to make the one brand more
open to other desktops. It's certainly convenient to relegate KDE to its
own brand so GNOME-centric people don't have to worry about it, but that
doesn't make it a good idea.

KDE completly broken in Rawhide?

Hi,
I've just updated from F11 -> Rawhide, however I can not login into kde anymore.
I even deleted ~/.kde. KDE starts up with the splash-screen, but
plasma never shows up.
By manually starting plasma I got the following:

> plasma-desktop: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/kde4/plasma_wallpaper_image.so: undefined symbol: _ZN6Plasma9Wallpaper17setUsingDiskCacheEb
Is this a known problem, or should I file a bug?
Any ideas how I can work arround this problem?

64-bit KDE 4.3beta1?

As far as I can tell, there are no 4.2.85 packages in the kde-redhat
x86_64 repositories, only in 32-bit. Is there a plan to add them?
