After the latest updates, saved session restore no longer restarts
Thunderbird and Firefox. Is anyone else seeing this?

I have two systems, and the right click desktop context menu is different.
On one, it just has:
On the other:

How do I make them the same?
after updating to the latest kmail in F24 I do not see the message headers
and the options in View->Headers are missing. That is when pressing the Edit
menu, I see the options for "Message List" and for Attachements but not
Other than that everything is working fine in my daily usage.
I am using Fedora 24 with kscreen 5.6.5 and i want to set a predefined resolution when users login for the first time. I tried to copy a file generated by kscreen to the following path without success: /usr/share/kde-settings/kde-profile/default/share/applications/kscreen
Is there any way to get this?
Thanks in advance.
I can consistently get kwin crashes simply by using VirtualBox and clicking OK at various
points when making changes to the configuration and/or managing a VM.
was filed using the auto reporting tools. But it seems there are many similar bugs that
have gone back to last year. It is just that I've had to use VirtualBox on a project
recently and having to wait while kwin restarts itself every time I make changes to a VM
is getting annoying.

Since installing a fresh F24, Firefox and Thunderbird don't seem to integrate
properly with Plasma workspace.
For example, the save dialogue looks like Gnome and doesn't show my KDE places
or bookmarks, and fonts also render differently, which leads me to believe my
freetype settings aren't being used.
I noticed the same problem with LibreOffice until I installed 'libreoffice-kde',
although that of course gave me the unsightly gradient background behind the
toolbars, but what can you do.
I don't recall having the Mozilla problem in F22/23. Could I be missing a
When I type pw into screenlocker, it turns on the fingerprint reader
(actually, after unlocking with keyboard!), and never turns off unless I
swipe my finger.
This had happened a few months ago on f23, but after update to f24, now it's
I've noticed something strange and was wondering if anyone might have clues
as to what is going on. I have a Lenovo ideapad with a radeon chipset.
Everything appeared fine with F23 - but
when I upgraded to F24 I started having issues getting a blank screen
instead of the KDE login prompt screen from SDDM.
If I boot into single user mode, and then issue an init 5 command,
everything works fine.
Any idea as to what this might be? I would think if it were a display
driver problem the init 5 wouldn't work either.
So to recap: Normal boot - blank screen
Single user mode, followed by init 5 - everything works.
Trying to run F24 KDE Live on a new machine. Never been used before,
it's that new.
Install checks the install medium with no issues but freezes after EDAC
sbridge - Couldn't find mci handler.
This was followed by kvm - disabled in bios. which was fixed by turning
on VT in the bios.
Motherboard is an ASUS X99 Sabertooth with latest BIOS.
Processor is an i7
nVidia Titan X video card using HDMI output or DVI.
Fedora 23 wouldn't even boot due to an X.509 error.
I need to use secure boot as this will be a dual boot with Windows 10
for some games that won't run in a VM.
Right now, I just want to get Fedora running on the machine. I would be
happy with F23.
I have left the machine in this state for almost an hour with no changes.
Downloading basic Fedora now.
